An unconfirmed report by New Telegraph indicates that nine governors under the platform of the APC are mulling the idea of exiting the party ahead of the 2019 elections. According to the report, the rumoured exit of the party stalwarts is expected to be more prominent in the South-west and North-central regions of the country. Although no names were mentioned in the report, there have been reports that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is dissatisfied with the APC leadership and might be creating a new party.
