Sometimes there’s a shoe so easy and cool, it earns a following even
bigger than the statement heels or printed pumps. This season, it’s the
Mules, and they’re practically everywhere.
The first time I laid
my eyes on Mules, I fell in love immediately. All I could think of were
these pair of beautiful shoes on my foot. Not as revealing as a sandal,
and not as covering as a trainer, the Mule style is terribly appropriate
for all weather. They look great, there’s so many beautiful designs
available on the high street, and they’re flattering too. It’s no
surprise that the mule is going to be the footwear of choice for many
this season and beyond.
How do I wear them? I hear you ask. It is a
perfect go-to combination with any bottoms, they can be straight leg,
wide leg, floaty or structured, but the length makes for the perfect
mule framing. It is also a fan of midi length skirts, or straight leg
cropped jeans and as well as being perfect for a day of meetings or in
the office, they are also a great option for smarter occasions too.
Their comfort factor multiplied by chic points make them dressy enough
for a wedding.
no matter how high the price tag or how esteemed the label, there is
something about the Mules. The Mules refuses to fulfill its basic
sartorial duty but sacrifices practicality for style which is exactly
what makes it magical.
